1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of GlossAI, including its desktop applications, website, AI features, and related services. By creating an account, installing, or using GlossAI, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the service.

2. About GlossAI

GlossAI is an AI-powered desktop assistant designed to help users understand, analyze, summarize, and interact with information displayed on their computers. Features may include AI-powered question answering, selected-text analysis, screen-content interpretation, conversation history, desktop keyboard shortcuts, and productivity or learning assistance. Features may change over time.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

You must provide accurate account information and maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials. You are responsible for activities performed through your account, except where unauthorized access results from circumstances for which you are not legally responsible. Notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use GlossAI for unlawful purposes; attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts; reverse engineer or exploit the service except where legally permitted; distribute malware or malicious content; interfere with service operation or security; violate another person's intellectual property or privacy rights; or use GlossAI to facilitate fraud, harassment, or other harmful activities. You are responsible for ensuring you have permission to submit content.

5. AI-Generated Content

GlossAI uses artificial intelligence to generate responses. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated and should be independently verified when accuracy matters. It is not a substitute for qualified professional advice. Do not rely exclusively on GlossAI for medical, legal, financial, cybersecurity, or other high-impact decisions.

6. User Content and Ownership

You retain your rights to content you submit, subject to third-party rights. You grant GlossAI a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to process, transmit, temporarily handle, and store your content as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, and maintain the services you request. This license does not transfer ownership of your content to GlossAI. You are responsible for ensuring submitted content does not violate applicable laws or third-party rights.

7. Screen Access and Permissions

GlossAI may require operating-system permissions to access selected screen content or provide desktop functionality. You control whether to grant these permissions through your operating system settings and may revoke them at any time, although some features may stop working. 8. Intellectual Property

GlossAI's software, branding, trademarks, logos, website, and original materials are owned by or licensed to GlossAI, except for third-party materials. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit GlossAI intellectual property without authorization, except where permitted by law.

9. Third-Party Services

GlossAI depends on third-party services, including hosting, authentication, and AI infrastructure providers. These services may experience outages, interruptions, model changes, or policy changes. This section does not exclude responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Subscriptions and Payments

Where paid subscriptions are offered, prices and billing intervals will be displayed before purchase; renewal and cancellation terms will be disclosed at checkout; refunds will follow applicable purchase terms and consumer protection laws; and pricing changes will be communicated with notice where required. Installing the free application does not itself create a paid subscription.

11. Service Availability

We aim to maintain reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may update, suspend, restrict, or discontinue features for maintenance, security, technical, or business reasons. Where reasonably possible, material changes will be communicated in advance.

12. Termination

You may stop using GlossAI at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms, your use creates a security risk, we are legally required to do so, or continued service is no longer technically or commercially feasible. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue.

13. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by applicable law, GlossAI is provided on an "as available" and "as is" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free AI responses, compatibility with every application or device, or that AI-generated content will satisfy every user requirement. Nothing excludes consumer rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GlossAI will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability arising from fraud, wilful misconduct, or other non-excludable circumstances.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as our products, services, and legal obligations evolve. Continued use following an effective update constitutes acceptance where legally permitted. Where affirmative consent is required, we will request it.

16. Governing Law
